"I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your home. What a lovely place you have and the view is amazing (I have been using that word a lot to describe our trip, your home, the view and the Island)! You are correct, I would have hated being there only one week! 12 days was not long enough. We met Larry at the 50's Cafe and he mentioned he knew you and that you would be coming to live there next year. What a nice man, we really enjoyed talking with him and his family. Volcano National Park was the best. We did a lot of hiking there. We rented a Harley and rode around the north part of the island on it. Met some wonderful people in Hawi who told us some of the history of the area and rode on highway 250 back home. What a beautiful road. We are already talking about our next visit! One of my favorite things to do was star gaze at night. The sky there reminds me so much of Maine. We go there every summer and star gazing is one of our night time activities. The Hawaii sky rivals what we see in Maine."
